Constance Ngoh-Ebanda, a seasoned healthcare professional, defied retirement norms by venturing into entrepreneurship with the launch of New U Hydration Lounge. Through the guidance of NursePreneurs and the mentorship of Catie Harris, Constance overcame challenges and successfully established her IV hydration business in San Jose, CA. 

Her determination and the support received exemplify the power of mentorship in pursuing new beginnings, leading to plans for expansion and a testament to the notion that retirement is not the end of the journey!

Early Retirement

After a 21-year career in leadership roles within acute care and ambulatory care settings, Constance made the decision to take early retirement. Having held leadership positions in nurse practitioner (NP) leadership for the past 20 years, she decided to embark on a new journey by starting her own business following the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Feeling unsatisfied with her traditional healthcare position, Constance qualified for early retirement, which provided her an opportunity to pursue her entrepreneurial aspirations. While early retirement was not on the agenda, Constance has found that it opened many doors for her, mainly, starting her own thriving business!

Connecting With NursePreneurs

Constance discovered NursePreneurs through a Facebook post and became intrigued by our webinar on IV hydration. After attending our IV hydration webinar, she was inspired to pursue her entrepreneurial aspirations under our mentorship and guidance. Recognizing the value of utilizing the help of mentors and business coaches, Constance made the decision to enroll in our comprehensive done-for-you business program, which gave her the support and confidence needed to launch her business successfully.

No Journey is Without Its Challenges

With NursePreneurs Constance had access to a network of professionals who could provide valuable insights and support throughout her entrepreneurial journey. But as we all know, no journey is without its challenges.

The entire business start up process took a bit longer than Constance expected, but overall New U Hydration Lounge, which opened its doors in October 2022, was a smashing success!

Current Status & Future Plans

While acknowledging the struggles faced, Constance values the coaching and guidance provided by NursePreneurs in maximizing her business potential. Constance plans to expand her business by adding new services and relocating to a larger space. A future relaunch is in the works to further establish New U Hydration Lounge as a prominent wellness destination in her community!
