Nurses are always looking out for the needs of their patients! When Nurse Myra opened her non-medical senior care business, New Beginnings at Home, she did not realize that the need for medical concierge nursing would be so prominent amongst her patients.
But with the help of NursePreneuers and the motivation to be the best at-home care service in Columbus, Indiana, Myra opened a sister branch RN Concierge to meet the evolving needs of her patients. Now that’s what we call dedication!
Myra’s Experiences in Healthcare
Myra's innate passion for caring for others is what first got her interested in a nursing career. Pursuing a career as an LPN to better care for her family led Myra down a slippery slope of healthcare experiences and educational degrees that sprung her into a career as a Registered Nurse and the manager of clinical services for a skilled home care agency.
While Myra loved providing care to senior patients, she always felt like she was being pushed to do more and more without the proper resources to do so; which impacted her ability to provide her patients with the best care possible. There had to be a more effective way to provide senior home care, and there was.

Why Start a Private Duty Nursing Business?
In an effort to provide her patients with the care that they deserved, and the proper resources to do so, Myra started her own non-medical concierge care service in Columbus, Indiana: New Beginnings at Home.
New Beginnings started with basic senior care services such as companionship care, homemaking, self-care, and more. But if there is anything that we can take away from Myra’s healthcare experiences and personality as a whole, it’s that Myra is constantly striving to improve herself and her business to better serve others.
When Myra saw the need for medical care services she decided that it was time to expand her business model to incorporate medical concierge care, which is right around the time she found NursePreneurs.

When Myra came to us we brainstormed with her on how to incorporate her new business idea for RN Concierge into her existing business model.
